Aman Takes To The Skies With The Launch Of Its New Private Jet For Guests To Charter
Aman fans have a lot to rejoice over this year—just this month alone, the group opened the highly-anticipated Aman Kyoto and now, the frontrunner in the world of luxury hotels and resorts is reaching for the skies as it makes its foray into the aviation industry with the launch of its very first private jet.
With the new Aman private jet, guests can expect an elevated journey with fully customisable bookings and flexible itineraries. Although charter is available for existing multi-destination journeys, Aman has also made it possible for their guests to use the jet to travel between non-Aman destinations.
The new private jet is a Bombardier Global 5000 luxury personal aircraft that seats a maximum of 12 passengers and can reach top speeds of 574 mph with a range of 9,640km. Travellers will have access to their very own Aman jet concierge, which will plan every detail of their travels—the hospitality brand's signature trait, where the comfort and convenience of guests always come first. Departure times and customs clearance will also be handled by Aman’s staff.
Some onboard features include high-speed wifi connection and amenities from the brand’s all-natural range of skincare products. Guests can even appreciate a tea ceremony several thousand feet in the air.
This is, however, not Aman's first venture into air travel as it had previously launched a 22-day global expedition aboard a private 18-seater Airbus ACJ 319, in collaboration with luxury travel designer, Remote Lands, back in 2017. The only difference this time around is that everything will be run and managed by Aman itself.
To celebrate the launch of the jet, the luxury resort operator has curated four new journeys, incorporating multiple Aman properties, that explore some of the world’s most beguiling destinations. These include Bali & Beyond, The Secrets of China, Indochina Past & Present, and From the Himalayas to the Sea.
In addition to all flights, private transfers and accommodation at Aman properties, each of these journeys includes private tours of key cultural sites plus a host of exclusive privileges at each resort. These range from personalised spa treatments and traditional blessing ceremonies, to unique culinary and cultural experiences.

Aman launched in 1988 with Amanpuri in Phuket, Thailand, and now has 34 resorts in 21 destinations including Shanghai, Tokyo, Bhutan and more. Next year, the brand will debut new resorts in Mexico and New York.
Despite more than three decades in the business, it’s clear that Aman has outdone itself once again—but only time will tell whether the sky’s the limit for them.
