Designed by E&A Interiors, this property in the Marine Parade District in Singapore features shades of light blue throughout the house.

The home incorporates sky blue and other pastel tones that take inspiration from nature. This three-storey property also utilises decor mainly custom-made by the design firm and is layered with soft fabrics to balance out the stone and hardwood surfaces.

Located in Mumbai’s Peddar Road suburb, this three-storey home stands out with a colourful interior which is reflective of the homeowners' personalities.

Utilising the extensive art collection they have, the interior combines a dominant use of cobalt blue, while being fully customised to fit items from the family's collection of artworks and covetable designer furniture.

3/15 A holiday home in deep blue shades with a flair for patterns

This compact holiday home located in the Big Apple makes up for its size with its extensive use of patterns. Designed by Greg Natale, the apartment has a clever mix of monochromatic patterns and metallic colours that help create its glamorous look; even the ceiling sports a wallpaper in a dark blue pattern.

Each furniture piece selected is well complimented towards the lively prints, which included a snakeskin-effect rug designed by Diane von Furstenberg, a blue sofa by Kelly Wearstler, a dining table by Jonathan Adler, as well as a side table by Paul Evans.

This fifties-inspired townhouse designed by Stéphanie Coutas of French studio SC Edition, expresses a sophisticated Parisian style with vintage accents.

Retaining its original structure which had white mouldings and floor-to-ceiling wooden windows, the interior was cleverly customised to have an interplay of stronger, playful tones that complimented the fifties colour palette which is mainly inclusive of yellow, orange and havy blue.

In this study, the striking yellow armchair is a bold contrast to the deep blue walls and shelves of this room. Each space also features other subtle colour accents that tie the entire home together.

Designed by KGID, this five-storey bungalow in Singapore has a sophisticated and inviting scheme that reflects a feel of staying in a hotel suite.

The use of brown earthy tones all over the home is well complemented with metallic accents and navy blue. Artworks are prominently featured all around the home to emphasise the linear lines of the surrounding space.

This family home based in Perth was designed based on the homeowner's love for mid-century modern design. A rich Sapphire blue that recurs in the family's extensive art collection is also the primary accent colour all around the home.

The home has several playful elements that were personalised for this young family. These include custom-made pieces such as the hand-tufted rugs that feature elements of the mid-century architectural styles.

11/15 Accent walls in a Scandi-chic home with Japanese influences

Designed by Gabriel Tan, the Eygptian blue accent walls add a pop of colour to the open-plan layout of the first storey in a penthouse apartment.

Located within the Duo complex, this interior’s angular plan echoes the sculpted architecture. The designer smoothened the sharp edges with curved walls, while creating a visually calming effect with the combination of marmorino plaster with ash timber veneer.
