Stunning features include a striking curved dining area and mirrored hallways
Located in the heart of Orchard Road, this elegant four-bedroom apartment is a fine example of a home that keeps in step with the latest trends while remaining true to its owners’ discerning tastes and classic leanings.
Decked out in carefully curated pieces from Lalique and Royal Interiors, as well as pieces from Ode to Art, its refinement is evident from the moment you step out of the private lift.
The homeowners approached Roy Teo, founder of design consortium The Mill, for functional solutions to their home—the project was undertaken by Kri:eit Associates in collaboration with Jennifer Murray of Splendor (both design practices are under The Mill group).

Sophisticated moulding adorns the walls of the guest room, which features a relaxing grey hue
This meant converting one of the bedrooms into a study, reconfiguring the existing powder room and master bathroom for better space utilisation, incorporating practical storage solutions, adding a study desk in the living room and providing hanging rails for their art collection.
“The homeowners also expressed a preference for light colours with blue accents,” says Murray. “Apart from that, they entrusted us with the stylistic direction.” Take a closer look at the apartment’s inspiring interiors here.
Rosy Outlook
The apartment’s most distinguishing feature is the rose gold metalwork, which can be found throughout the public areas and the rooms. Taking her cue from the curved floor plan, Murray introduced long, elegant flowing lines, which influenced the internal structure as well as the customised furniture, fittings and lights.
Ahead Of The Curve
One of the most eye-catching features in the apartment is the curved glass enclosure around the dining room, which has a sculptural quality that beautifully complements the paintings on the walls. “Instead of tearing down walls to create an open-plan space as is usually done, we created a bespoke metal and glass enclosure between the living and dining areas,” says Murray. “This allowed for a private and luxurious dining space, while keeping the open and light feel of the living area intact.”
An Elegant Entrance
Murray remodelled the entrance foyer with new flooring, shagreen wallpaper, a Christopher Guy mirror, and an intriguing bespoke half-chandelier crafted from crystal rock and deep rose-gold metal. Here, she also introduced a console and full-height shoe cabinet with natural marble and accent panels from Kinon. “The foyer is not a big space, so we designed half a chandelier and used a mirror to make it appear larger than it actually is,” explains Murray.
Mirror Play
Comprised of mirrors and intricate floral patterns created with individually laid mosaics, this living room feature wall further enhances the illusion of expansiveness. With sinuous curves from the sofa and chaise to the rug and coffee table, the living room features a cream and blue colour scheme for the rug, cushions, lamp bases and paintings, giving the space an air of cool sophistication.
Masculine Details
The bedroom next to the living area was converted into a study with a distinctly masculine character. Concealed behind a mirrored sliding door, this bedroom was fitted with built-in shelves that reach all the way up to the ceiling, a Ralph Lauren study table and a Christopher Guy study chair. “We added upholstered walls to soften the overall feel and included the rose gold metal detailing as an inlay,” says Murray.
Serene Sanctuary 
The ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom has been completely reconfigured—all the existing flooring and fixtures were revamped. The window-facing his and hers washbasins were relocated to face the wall, where they could follow the curve to make better use of the corners. Metal and onyx elements have been incorporated into the design to contrast the light grey marble and brilliant white bathroom fixtures.
