Make a difference during breast cancer awareness month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, a period when people all around the world come together to raise awareness about the illness. Beauty companies have come a long way in lending their support to charities and organisations in their efforts to find a cure.
Want to do your part? We've compiled a list of limited edition beauty products, the proceeds of which will go towards funding breast cancer research and aiding those in need.
1. GHD Ink On Pink Collection
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of its pink campaign, which has raised over US$15m (S$20.6m) for breast cancer charities and organisations globally, GHD has collaborated with Chicago-based artist David Allen who has made it his life mission to help women regain their confidence by covering up their mastectomy scars with beautiful tattoos. The new campaign features Grace Lambardo, a real-life hero who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016, as its muse for the Ink On Pink Collection comprising the award-winning Platinum+ and Gold stylers. Proceeds will be donated to Breast Cancer Now.
