Fashion designer Anthony Vaccarello is set to launch a new limited edition makeup range with cosmetics brand Lancôme.

The Belgian designer, known for his asymmetrical cuts and fresh take on femininity throughout his collections, will draw on his fashion experience for the collection, set to be released in Fall 2015. No further details have been revealed as of yet.

"I was inspired by the Lancome woman's femininity and charisma - a special kind of elegance that's never lifeless nor frozen," he outlines. For me, Lancome embodies the philosophy of understated beauty: it's something quintessentially French,"

Lancôme, which celebrates its 80th birthday this year, has a long history of collaboration with creatives from the worlds of art and design. Vaccarello follows in the footsteps of accessories designer Proenza Schouler, fashion designers Alber Elbaz and Yiqin Ying.

The limited edition Anthony Vaccarello for Lancôme will be available from October through net-a-porter.com.
