Four sporty familiar faces flex their muscles and put their game face on for our fitness feature. Here’s a look at the pre-shoot warm-ups.

Lean pins, toned bodies and rugged sports gear—these were the highlights of the photo shoot for our main feature story in this month’s issue. Although what truly made the spread so striking was the unlimited supply of confidence displayed by each of our fitness junkies. And of course, a good level of stamina helped as well.

Sharanjit Leyl showed off impressive muscle strength as she perched in almost push-up position atop a table. Most would have only seen her as the poised presenter on BBC’s Asia Business Report and Newsday before this, so it was no surprise when the mother of one was heard exclaiming enthusiastically to the Singapore Tatler crew that “this is the first time others are going to see me looking this way!”

Sabrina Ault also displayed how motherhood hasn’t stopped her from remaining fit as a fiddle, complete with defined abs and arms. But laughter may well be this diving enthusiast’s best fitness cheat tip, as she never stopped chortling and making jokes, especially around our make-up artist GregO.

For the suave Ameer Jumabhoy, brand ambassador duty with sports fashion label La Martina and a 13-year-long professional polo career has certainly helped with bringing out the camera-loving side of him and made it second nature to pose in full polo attire.

Kevin Chua, however, took the most sporting award for readily agreeing to our request to demonstrate a few of the tough exercises that make up his Freeletics workout. And all this just before his shoot, where he continued with a round of very short sprints for the camera.

Now it’s off to the gym for the rest of us.

Our fitness buffs and these Richard Mille watches were all oiled up for the photo shoot.
