Make the most out of your mealtime with our round-up of timely treats
As we enter the month of December, you’ll notice that the chefs in Singapore have updated their offerings to include festive menus comprising traditional classics such as roast beef and turkey. Find it too early to indulge? Well, there are lots more to savour at new hotspots and stalwarts.
1. Jumbo Seafood
The holiday period means you’ll be stuffed with traditional delights such as roast turkey, Christmas ham and Christmas logcake. Why not try something different and head over to this restaurant for a galore of seafood dishes.
When you dine here from December 2 to January 1, you’ll get a complimentary bottle of wine with every two live lobsters ordered. Have this cooked in a variety of ways—braised in superior broth, concocted with premium pork Yunnan ham and pig’s skin, or braised with glass vermicelli and a complex ‘Sha Cha’ sauce that renders it mildly sweet and redolent of fragrant sesame and peanuts.
