It’s a brand new year and the call for greater sustainability within the fashion industry is louder than ever. And that’s why the Tatler team believes it’s even more important to buy clothes that withstand the test of time. To exemplify that, fashion director Desmond Lim was on hand to give styling tips while presenting Sandro's spring/summer 2020 collection at a special workshop at the Parisian label's boutique in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands last week. Society friends such as June Rin, Serene Chua, Nancy and Sonia Ong, Grace Wong and more were also in attendance at the intimate event. Some of the collection’s design highlights that piqued guests’ interest include denim details on classic cardigans, floral motifs on hoodies, boxy and cropped jackets, brocade on jackets and high-waisted bottoms. Denim on denim remains a key trend in this collection and coincidentally, this was seen on some of our stylish guests that evening—and we can’t say that we’re surprised.
