5 Christmas Buffets To Try
1/5 Lime Restaurant
Whether with friends or family, you’re always assured of a spectacular spread here with many highlights. Start light with the Italian bocconcini (mozzarella cheese) with cherry tomato salad, before going big with the roasted beef cheek with juniper berries; wagyu beef sirloin complete with condiments; and citrus glazed gammon ham.
Save some space for the desserts, because there are many to choose from! Don’t skip the seasonal Christmas pavlova as well as the yuletide logs and the Italian panettone pudding slicked with gingerbread vanilla sauce. Top up for bottomless Piper Heidsieck champagne.
The Christmas brunch and dinner is available on December 24 and 25. For enquiries and reservations, please call 6809 8899 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
2/5 Ellenborough Market Café
We already feel jolly knowing that this restaurant has studded its Asian selection with holiday favourites for a merrier month. Unsurprisingly, there are lots to savour—from the carving station with its eye-catching glazed bone-in ham with port wine sauce and Asian-inspired turkey with cranberry and kam heong sauce, to the dessert station with the almond stolen and the ivory hued Valrhona yule log cake with pandan roulade.
The Christmas buffet is available from December 3 to 31, lunch and dinner. For reservations and enquiries, please call 6239 1847/1848 or email email@example.com.
3/5 The Line
We’ve got three words for you: 16 theatre kitchens. This translates to mouth-watering offerings that not only span cuisines from around the world, but showcases their specialities, too. Reminiscent of France is the Christmas macaroon tower decked with a variety of flavours ranging from chocolate, strawberry to vanilla; meanwhile, a taste of home can be resolved with a bowl of lobster coconut curry.
Of course, you’re here for the festive feast, so the team has also prepared a traditional roasted turkey with all the trimmings, the luscious and all-time favourite chocolate logcake, Christmas pudding and minced meat pie.
The Christmas buffet is available from December 1 to 31. For enquiries and reservations, please call 6213 4398 or click here.
4/5 Melt Café
This is one of the most dependable buffet restaurants on the island for obvious reasons, which is why the Christmas spread is worth the trip.
The classic oven roasted turkey accompanied by the traditional stuffing and the gammon ham infused with honey, five spices and cloves are still the highlight. But you’ll be able to enjoy these alongside the king crab laksa, grilled Tajima wagyu beef, and pan-seared foie gras. It’s worth mentioning that these come with bottomless Ruinart champagne.
The Christmas buffet is available on December 24, 25, 31 and January 1, 2019. For enquiries and reservations, please call 6885 3500 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The festive feasting continues at Rise, with an extensive spread comprising Asian favourites and Christmas specialities. Lunch or dinner, you’ll have a taste of the juicy roasted turkey that’s best eaten with a generous dipping of the savoury giblets sauce, as well as utterly tender roasted wagyu hip from Australia that you can drench with an umami-rich onion gravy.
And for some seafood, just to balance out the meal, you’ve also got the pan-seared Hokkaido scallop (from the live station), as well as whole tuna hamachi, lobster and Alaskan king crab from the seafood section.
The festive buffet is available from December 10 to 25. For enquiries and reservations, please call 6688 5525 or email Rise@MarinaBaySands.com.
