As one of SingaporeTatler.com’s most popular contributors, Iroshini Chua sees Tatler really, as a family affair. “Not only am I incredibly proud to write my travel column for the website, but my husband provides the pictures too. Also, the events and goings on at Tatler have been a large part of my life for a while now,” she tells us over our laughter-filled afternoon filming for the #WeAreSingaporeTatler.com campaign.

An avid travel fan, Iroshini’s recent trips have seen her jetting off to the likes of Koh Samui and The Great Barrier Reef. With her husband Kevin and young family never far from her side, Iroshini is also partial to travelling en mass, taking her whole family along with her. Her reason behind this couldn’t be simpler, as she jokes that “my whole family love to travel, it’s like a genetic disease really!” Taking Singapore Tatler.com along for the ride, Iroshini explains she uses the website as a luxury resource, keeping up with all the latest goings on during her trips. 

So, with such an unparalleled view of the world, we couldn’t help but pick her brains on where is truly worth the trip. Her answer? Africa- as she tells us: “It really pulls at my heartstrings; the people, the starry skies, the wildlife – there really is no place like Africa.” But its not just travel that’s close to her heart, as explains to us that time is just as important. “For me, luxury is all about having the time to do the things I am passionate about, having the time to spend with my family and loved ones, that is what is so important.”
