Richard Eu was part of a consortium that made a successful privatisation for Eu Yan Sang International (EYSI) in 2016, successfully delisting the group after 16 years on the Singapore Exchange mainboard. In October 2017, he stepped down as the group CEO of EYSI and took on the role of its non‑executive chairman. He is also the chairman of the National Museum of Singapore.
