Lucia Silvestri, Bulgari’s creative director of jewellery, helped design the watchmaker’s latest Divissima and Allegra cocktail watches, which combine coloured gemstones and diamonds in various ways. Inspired by what Bulgari calls the “joie de vivre of la Dolce Vita”, the pictured Allegra watch comes with a rose gold case set with 82 round brilliant-cut diamonds and a mix of faceted and cabochon-cut gemstones. A mother-of-pearl dial is set with 12 diamond indexes for added glamour, while a taupe-coloured alligator strap ensures a comfortable fit.

A vintage-inspired collection, Cartier’s Libre line previously came in gorgeous tones of burgundy, emerald and gold. For Watches & Wonders 2021, the brand has unveiled a stunning tortoise-theme Baignoire timepiece, which is limited to 50 individually numbered watches. A playful scale motif is achieved using clusters of diamonds and tiny slivers of black anthracite. Buff-topped tsavorites and sapphires have been carefully arranged along the watch’s sides, which really brings this novelty’s influence to life.
