Tune in tonight at 2.30am Singapore time to watch the Dior cruise 2022 show

For Dior cruise 2022, we first reported that the French luxury house would be heading to Greece, having obtained permission to shoot at several historically important sites, including the Acropolis, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Ancient Agora in Athens, the temple of Poseidon at Sounio and the temple of Zeus at Nemea.

Today, just hours before the show, the house has also released several video vignettes showing creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri going on a “journey of the goddesses”, exploring sites that have had major significance for women, such as the Knossos Museum, Akrotiri and Delphi. In each of these locations, Chiuri explored the role of the female in ancient religion, drawing inspiration from snake goddesses in ancient Minoan culture, the sensual curves on Akrotiri ceramic pots that resembled the figure of pregnant women, and the strong focus on the female at Delphi, which literally takes its name from the Greek word delphys, meaning womb, as we find out in one of the videos.

To see how this is translated with Chiuri's feminist message for the Dior cruise 2022 show, tune in right here at 2.30am Singapore time.
