Fresh off a capsule lipstick collection with L'Oréal Paris, Olivier Rousteing, creative director of Balmain, is diving into a collaboration with Victoria’s Secret—for which he will be designing a series of looks for the runway as well as an exclusive capsule collection.

Known for its over-the-top fashion shows and distinct brand of sensuality and seduction, this will be the lingerie retailer’s first partnership with a luxury fashion house. This is not a huge jump for Balmain, however, having collaborated with high-street brand H&M in 2015.

Rousteing himself has attended Victoria’s Secret presentations in the past, and casted VS Angels Alessandra Ambrosio, Elsa Hosk, and Josephine Skriver in his recent spring/summer 2018 show.

Expect sequins, chainmail, mesh and body conscious silhouettes as the collection marries the excessive glamour of the French maison and the unreserved sensuality of the American brand. #VSxBalmain will feature a mix of looks created by Rousteing for the runway, and subtler pieces for your wardrobe.

Little is revealed about the collection besides a teaser video released last week, so we can only wait for the grand unveiling at the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which will take place in Shanghai, China on November 28.
