In this Métiers d’Art The Legend of the Chinese Zodiac watch, Vacheron Constantin’s artisans sculpt a dog from platinum and surround it with a beautiful foliage motif etched directly on the dial. There are two versions of this piece, with the other rendered in pink gold, and each is limited to 12 pieces.

Piaget welcomes the Lunar New Year with its annual Altiplano Chinese Zodiac timepiece, which features the work of master enameller Anita Pochet, who uses a delicate grand feu cloisonné enamelling technique. The piece comes in a white-gold case with a bezel framed with diamonds.

Italian sparsello engravings adorn the watch cover beautifully, and the dial is kept clean with the exception of the hour markers, date and the small seconds window.

Ulysse Nardin’s Classico Dog timepiece presents an energetic husky in grand feu champlevé enamelling on a 40mm dial housed in a rose-gold case. Fitted with an automatic, COSC-certified movement, the Classico Dog offers 42 hours of autonomy. Only 88 will be produced.

Blancpain offers a limited edition Traditional Chinese Calendar watch in platinum featuring a Chinese calendar—which includes the zodiac signs, elements and celestial stems—a moonphase, and a dog that makes a discreet appearance at 12 o’clock. Only 50 will be produced.

A hand-engraved image of a Chow Chow is etched on the gold-plate dial of this Breguet Classique 7145, with Breguet’s artisan applying a bas-relief technique to produce a three-dimensional effect. The watch is equipped with an automatic movement, which can be admired through its sapphire caseback.

The Tambour Horizon smartwatch gets new faces featuring the 12 Chinese zodiac signs, including this year's star—the dog. The piece comes in a 42mm case of polished stainless steel and features a 24-hour ring, an AMOLED touchscreen, black PVD finishing and a sapphire glass case back with a Louis Vuitton logo. Fitted with an interchangeable strap, it is water-resistant to 30 metres.
