If Daniel Lee's first accessories collection for Bottega Veneta and all the gorgeous handbags from Jil Sander are any indication, the new It-bag comes in all shape and sizes–in fact, the more architectural the better

Need inspiration? It can be hard to keep track of all the new handbag labels spotted on the arms of the most stylish during Fashion Week so we've rounded up all the contemporary brands nailing the 2019 silhouette.

STÉE Atelier

Designed by Estelle Orilland, Stee's latest collection is inspired by the designer's years of travels and encounters. The graphic, streamlined shapes are at once timeless yet contemporary and the Neo ring bag has already been spotted on the arms of the biggest influencers during Fashion Month.

Available at Stee Atelier

Bienen-Davis

Originally worn by some of Hollywood’s most iconic celebrities in the 1930s, the brand has had pieces included in the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s permanent collection until it closed in 1976. Now, it's back with a glamorous new line-up loved by celebrities and style stars alike, filled with their iconic rectangular box shape and gorgeous embroidery.

The Volon

Launched by interior designer Eujung Jang in 2013, The Volon has its roots in furniture craftsmanship, which is why it's known for its architecturally sleek construction and ergonomic designs. Their most popular styles include a little trunk box bag as well as a feathered velvet clutch, but new shapes, including chains and metallic hardware, are gaining traction as well.

Rylan Studio

Rylan Studio bags are best known for their long, vintage silhouettes in neutral, easily wearable palettes harkening back to a kind of elegance of the 1970s, and each piece is made from the finest European leather.

Mlouye

Many of Mlouye's bag silhouettes are inspired by architecture and artists from the Bauhaus movement. Case in point? Their now-iconic lantern bucket bags. Simplicity is a key factor alongside utility, so the shapes are functional as well as luxurious, but at a contemporary price point.

L'Afshar

Lilian Afshar considers her contemporary designs to be equal parts architecture and art. The Dubai-based brand has gained popularity for its box silhouettes and use of unexpected textures, patterns, and materials and has been spotted on the arms of Bella Hadid, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Laura Dern and even Queen Rania of Jordan.

Elleme

Derived from the French conjugation “elle aime”, meaning “she Loves," the Paris-based brand founded by Jingjing Fan is all about simple shapes and timeless hues. Various iterations of their Baozi, or "dumpling" bag in raffia, canvas, shearling, and patent leather have been carried by the most discerning of It-girls.
