Tatler’s global artistic director Joe Zee has a chat with our October cover star and fashion entrepreneur Yoyo Cao

What happens when two fashion-loving people get together? They talk about food and kids, of course!

In the third instalment of Tatler Talks, Tatler Asia's global artistic director Joe Zee speaks to Instagram superstar Yoyo Cao. The new parents—Cao has a two-year-old boy Luca while Zee is the father of a six-month-old baby girl—swapped parenting tips and shared food recommendations.

Fresh out of a fashion week that has been fully virtual for both of them, both discussed the new experience of watching shows and viewing new collections during a global pandemic.

They shared what they missed most about attending fashion week, their favourite Spring-Summer 2021 shows, including Prada and Fendi at Milan Fashion Week, with the former being a highly-anticipated collaboration between Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons.

They also shared their love for the final day of Paris fashion week over the years, as well as the final shows which included Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu and Chanel.

Cao shared what goes on behind the glamour of fashion week—how much luggage she carries, the most number of shoes she’s ever brought, the most number of outfit changes done in a day—and having to change in the back of a car in between shows.
