We've done the shopping for you. Here's our pick of the chicest menswear and womenswear pieces from the Parisian brand

Sandro creative directors and mother-son team, Evelyne and Ilan Chetrite, are behind the womenswear and menswear lines for the Parisian label, which draws inspiration from French architecture and culture. The result? Classic, chic and elegant clothing that will be mainstays in your closet.

For Sandro's spring/summer 2020 collection, the brand has gotten nostalgic, referencing well-loved '80s silhouettes that are made current for today. Desmond Lim, Singapore Tatler's fashion director picks the 10 key pieces from the collection:

1/10 Denim jacket with graphic detail

Denim never goes out of style. This jacket knocks it out of the park with a strong ’80s silhouette made modern with just the right amount of western-inspired detailing. Ace this with a pair of black leggings and you are up high on the style ranks this season.

2/10 Pleated trench coat with belt

This classic trench coat doubles up as a dress when cinched with your boyfriend’s belt or left open under a shift dress for that cool slightly uptown sensibility. The best part is, this is one of those classics that would withstand the fickleness of trends, thus making you a responsible global citizen.

3/10 Brocade jacket with denim inserts

This hybrid of a cardigan meets denim jacket—together with brocade—is just super cute! It sits beautifully over a dress or an oversized shirt.

4/10 Summer bag

This spring/summer, the three key trends to look out for in bags are: 1) vintage-inspired shapes 2) interesting textures and 3) a sense of craft... and this happens to have all three of that in one package.

5/10 Shirt-style cropped cardigan

The new proportion for shirts is cropped, boxy and comes with so much more jazz when worn over high waisted flare pants channelling a bit of that ’40s post-war vibe.

6/10 Leather ankle boots with elastic

Boots have the ability to change one’s entire look. Wear it with a pair of skinny jeans a la Kate Moss or pair them with a really cute (possibly ruffled) dress for that slight devil-may-care attitude.

7/10 Velcro beaded sandals

I’m not a fan of this "American Tourist" sandal but when it’s done right, like this pair is—it can be pretty cool. It's got a Japanese vibe to it, so pair it with a maxi dress or (yes you read it here) any Japanese label, plus a nice pedicure and you'll be good to go.

8/10 Cotton striped shirt with hoodie collar

What’s there not to love about a classic men’s stripe shirt with an attached hoodie. It’s pretty much an all-in-one, if you ask me!

9/10 Short-sleeved printed shirt

Call me predictable but I always see myself looking out for that great vacation shirt perfect for the beach whenever I travel to a resort. This is one of those good ones that sits high in terms of style and comfort.

10/10 Smooth leather Chelsea boots

How to spot a guy with good taste and style, you ask? Well, by looking at the kind of shoes they wear, of course!
