Well-loved British makeup and skincare brand Charlotte Tilbury has chosen Chinese superstar Tang Wei as its very first Global Makeup Ambassador.
Tilbury, an international make-up artist who’s a favourite of celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Nicole Kidman and Kate Moss, will work with the actress to “deliver to the world the excellent beauty experience” that can help people achieve their “perfect self” through the power of makeup.
“I’m so excited that I’m going to embark the magic makeup journey with my first Global Makeup Ambassador of Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, Ms Tang Wei. She is an amazing movie star that’s loved by the world with her unique glamour.

“I love her confidence, courage, talent and the pursuit of her career and dream. I believe that she will spread the magic power and luck with her favourite product and makeup look to make everyone become the best version of themselves! I can't wait to create more magic moments with her,” Tilbury said in a press statement.
Tang, who once appeared in a skincare commercial with popular talk show host James Corden, is well known not just for her acting chops but her enviable flawless skin too.
“I am so excited and looking forward to collaborating with Charlotte Tilbury,” said Tang. “I believed that this collaboration will be a magical moment for my fans and all makeup lovers around the world and become a more beautiful and better version of themselves.”
Tilbury is no stranger to celebrity collaborations, having released two lipstick collections in 2016 and 2019 named after prominent women from Amal Clooney to supermodels such as Cindy Crawford and Liv Tyler. Sales from these lipsticks were donated to the Women for Women International, a charity organisation that provide support, education and tools to women in countries such as Nigeria, Afghanistan and more.
Most recently, Tilbury released her latest makeup collection, Look of Love, in Singapore. It comprises two limited-edition eye palettes as well as refillable lipsticks housed in rose gold, diamond-studded packaging.
