J’adore by Christian Dior. Like liquid gold, it envelops you with a luminous aura and sublime warmth.
If you are used to thinking of perfume in terms of its top, middle and base notes, J’adore by Christian Dior will utterly redefine your olfactory experience. The reinvented golden elixir veils your skin like a made-to-measure couture gown and radiates with beauty.
No citrusy, woody or musky fragrance comes close to the luminous feminine charm of this exceptional floral bouquet. “Sensual without being heavy, J’adore invents a flower that doesn’t exist,” says Dior perfumer-creator François Demachy.
The famous nose combines the narcotic sweetness of Comorian ylang-ylang essence and jubilant notes of Turkish rosa damascena with rare jasmine absolutes. Like a priceless jewel, this bouquet of organic liquid gold truly exalts you.
J’adore is one of the most iconic jasmine fragrances in the world today. Two distinct jasmine varieties illuminate it—jasmine sambac from India and jasmine grandiflorum from Grasse.
In fact, before women fell in love with J’adore, Indian jasmine sambac was rarely used in luxury perfume. The House of Dior discovered its delicate notes of orange blossoms and immortalised the flower with the creation of J’adore in 1999.
This bouquet is elevated by the jasmine grandiflorum from Grasse. Harvested at the Domaine du Manon, its unique terroir between the sea and mountains makes it more faceted than any other variety of jasmine in the world. Its exquisite floral notes are perfectly balanced by hints of
luscious sun‑kissed fruit.
This extraordinary flower must be picked from mid-July to mid‑October at the break of day when the light is perfect and its fragrance peaks. By November, it must be cut down and covered with soil to protect it from harsh winters.
Seven million flowers yield 1kg of precious Jasmine Absolute. As you can imagine, composed of such rare blossoms with distinct craftsmanship, J’adore transfigures it wearer with dazzling beauty.
