The French fashion house is bucking the trend by heading to the city that never sleeps.

At a time when many designers are quitting the Big Apple in favour of London, Milan or Paris, Saint Laurent is heading in the opposite direction to present its latest collection, according to Women's Wear Daily. The show scheduled to take place on  June 6 in New York, though there's no word yet on the exact location.

Like the two shows set at the foot of the shimmering Eiffel Tower, the luxury label may once again present womenswear and menswear silhouettes at the show.

As yet, the French fashion house -- helmed by creative director Anthony Vaccarello -- is yet to confirm the reports.

With the trend for combining men's and women's shows on the rise, industry insiders suggest that the four major fashion capitals may see the traditional approach to fashion week schedules revisited.
