The much-loved beauty brand’s much-anticipated 2021 rebranding offers long-time fans and curious inquirers a plethora of customisable take-home solutions
It’s now an award-winning cult spa and skincare brand, but what set Porcelain apart from other spas when it was first established in 2009 was the fact that it focused on deep extractions and holistic solutions rather than quick fixes. Co-founding mother-daughter duo Jenny Teng and Pauline Ng followed that up with the launch of their first skincare product in 2010, and the rest is history.
“From Day 1, the Porcelain philosophy has stemmed from knowing how cells work. Solutions are developed with that naturalistic approach in mind to restore skin’s health back to equilibrium,” says Ng, who is the brand’s Director. “This is a continual and delicate balancing act as our skin is a living organ. We believe in correcting your skin issues from the inside out, instead of using a symptomatic approach which may cause recurrence, or sensitised skin.”

Porcelain has since been featured twice in the Louis Vuitton City Guide (2015 and 2019), and is a regular winner in the World Luxury Spa Awards, the Haute Grandeur Global Spa Awards, and Singapore Tatler’s Best of Singapore Awards. In 2019, it opened Singapore’s first smart spa and wellness café concept store in Paragon, and the odd year that was 2020 has not slowed it down one bit: Five new products were successfully launched from 2019 through 2020, and 2021 brings a major rebranding of Porcelain Skincare.
