1/11 Rouge Hermès Fall-Winter 2020 Limited Edition Collection

When Hermès Beauty launched on March 4 with its very first lip collection, Rouge Hermès, beauty junkies went wild. Select shades from both its emblematic collection of 24 lipsticks in two finishes, as well as its totem collection for Spring-Summer 2020 were quickly sold out. Now, Rouge Hermès is introducing three new limited edition shades in a spectrum of pink for Fall-Winter 2020.

Rose Nuit is a velvety, muted pink, with subtle hints of blue in a matte finish; Rose Ombré offers a satin rosewood and waxed palisander shade that is discreet and slightly muted; while Rose Pommette is a joyful and vibrant pink in a satin finish. All three shades are extremely wearable for every day, and come in limited edition lacquered tubes that are refillable with other shades.

Available at Hermès boutiques in Liat Towers, Marina Bay Sands, Takashimaya, and the Hermès Parfum & Beauté counter at Takashimaya.

2/11 Chanel Le Lift Crème de Nuit

Is your skin struggling to keep up with your lifestyle of hectic days and late nights? As we are all familiar by now, night time is when our body—including our skin—repairs itself. Cellular proliferation reaches its peak at night, but when days get too busy and long with exposure to external and internal aggressors, the skin’s natural cycles can be disturbed, leading to irritation, discomfort and appearance of signs of ageing.

Chanel’s latest addition to its Le Lift collection features its signature botanical alfalfa extract, together with a new Neuractive Night Complex of rare Silver Needle tea and a marine-origin active ingredient to aid overworked skin in its nightly repair. Rich in theanine and polyphenols, the velvety cream soothes, de-stresses and improves the barrier function of the skin for a fresher complexion the next day.

Available at Chanel Beauty boutiques and counters.

3/11 Gucci Bloom Profumo di Fiori

Gucci Bloom Profumo di Fiori is the latest addition to the world of Gucci Bloom, created by Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele and master perfumer Alberto Morillas. “Perfume is like a spell, and the women wearing it put a spell on the world. Flowers, in this case, mediate this spell, and Gucci Bloom Profumo di Fiori is a powerful conversation with them,” says Michele.

The new scent is centred in the original’s signature white floral notes, and embodies the vitality of the youth. Housed in a honey yellow-hued glass bottle, the fragrance has top notes of jasmine sambac absolute, heart noes of natural tuberose, jasmine bud extract and ylang ylang and base notes of sandalwood accord, sun-drenched wood accord, orris concrete, benzoin and musks.

Available at Takashimaya, Tangs and Sephora.sg

4/11 Clé de Peau Beauté Radiant Fluid Foundation Matte

As we continue to wear face masks for our everyday activities, smudge-resistance and long-staying power have become an increasingly important quality that we look for in our foundations. And that’s not all—with the threat of ‘maskne’ looming, we also have to ensure the right amount of moisture on our skin to strengthen its protective barrier.

Clé de Peau Beauté’s latest Radiant Fluid Foundation Matte addresses all of these concerns with a blend of skincare and makeup for an illuminated, matte finish. Ingredients like the brand’s skin-empowering illuminator and herbal Hypericum extract help to regulate the balance of your skin—keeping it plump and moisturised; while a Light-Empowering Enhancer technology reflects light on the skin’s surface, lending a radiant finish without excess oil and shine. The breathable, medium coverage formula also promises to stay on for hours.

Available at Clé de Peau Beauté counters.

5/11 Chloé Atelier Des Fleurs

The latest chapter to Chloé’s olfactive story is Atelier Des Fleurs, a collection of nine fragrances dreamed up by six renowned perfumers. Drawing upon their childhood memories, travel recollections and reminiscences of moments in time that remain etched in their minds, Amandine Clerc-Marie; Quentin Bisch; Louise Turner; Domitille Michalon Bertier; Sidonie Lancesseur and Mylène Alran created a selection of single-note perfumes featuring natural botanicals.

Designed to be worn alone or in a myriad of combinations, Atelier Des Fleurs is akin to a floral atelier, where you can mix and match your favourite flowers to create your bespoke fragrance bouquet. Choose from the selection of Rosa Damascena, Lavanda, Magnolia Alba, Cedrus, Hibiscus Abelmoschus, Herba Mimosa, Neroli, Verbena and Jasminum Sambac.

Available at Takashimaya, and at Sephora Ion and Ngee Ann City from October 8.

6/11 Chantecaille The Safari Collection Eye Trio

For Fall 2020, Chantecaille looks towards nature again for inspiration—particularly the landscape and beautiful creatures of Africa—to create the Safari Chic Collection, in support of conservation partner Space for Giants. The international charity works to protect the elephant habitats in Africa, encouraging the co-existence of people and wildlife.

The exclusive Safari Collection Eye Trio, especially, was inspired by these gentle giants, reflecting their soft taupe tones in three wearable Eye Shine shades: Selenkey (burnished gold), Red Earth (strong copper), and Nanu (soft taupe). The palette is even embossed with elephant motifs for that extra touch.

Available at Chantecaille’s boutique and counter at Tangs Orchard and Takashimaya.

7/11 Tom Ford Beauty Rose Prick Eau de Parfum

Inspired by Tom Ford’s own rose garden, Rose Prick Eau de Parfum captures the many facets of the rose—from the beauty of its blossoms to the sensuality of its pricks. The perfume presents itself as a wild bouquet of beautiful roses—opening with notes of Bulgarian roses and Rose de Mai, juxtaposed with the spiciness of Sichuan pepper and turmeric extract. At its heart, Indonesia patchouli and roasted Tonka adds warmth to the Bulgarian rose, drying down to Tolu balsam and notes of musk.

First launched in April, the Rose Prick Eau de Parfum is now available in a jumbo 100ml size of its understatedly beautiful matte rose bottle.

Available at all Tom Ford boutiques.

10/11 Christian Louboutin Beauty Rouge Louboutin Matte Fluids

The brand famous for its red-soled stilettos further expands its beauty line this season with the Rouge Louboutin Matte Fluids collection, which features 10 matte and five metal matte red fluid lip colours, as well as five new red matte nail colours.

If there is any brand that understands the power of red, it’s Christian Louboutin—and there is a gorgeous shade of red here for everyone. The different red hues glide on effortlessly for an intense hue. The matte and metal matte lip colours come in the brand’s iconic amphora-shaped holder (reminiscent of the stiletto heel) looped onto a velvet ribbon or chain, asking to be worn against the décolletage.

The red matte nail colours are no different and feature rich hues with a matte finish. The nail polish handle—which is actually so comfortable to hold during application—is inspired by the tallest heel every created by Mr Louboutin, the iconic Ballerina Ultima.

Available at Tangs.

11/11 Francis Kurkdjian L’Homme À La Rose

With this new scent, the famed nose contemplates what makes a scent masculine or feminine, by creating a fragrance for men centred around rose, an ingredient that is often featured in a woman’s perfume. Rose has been often featured in perfumer’s creations since the beginning of his career, and L’Homme À La Rose is a masculine interpretation of his 2014 fragrance À La Rose.

And what perfect timing because the idea of ‘masculinity’ and ‘feminity’ evolves with society, and this floral and woody scent is Kurkdjian’s take on what is masculine today. “With l’Homme À la rose, today I’m giving men the power to wear a rose-scented fragrance,” says Kurkdjian.

Available at Escentials (Paragon, Tang Plaza, Robinsons The Heeren) and Escentials online.
