Bag lovers rejoice for this is one installation you would not want to miss out. If you’ve ever been curious about the history of the Miu Lady bag, now’s your chance to find out. For a short time only, the Italian brand is set to grace our shores with a pop-up installation dedicated to this much loved and timeless hand bag.
One of Miu Miu’s most iconic bags, the Miu Lady perfectly represents the brand’s irreverent and feminine spirit. Mixing Italian luxury and heritage with a sense of fun, the Miu Lady is crafted in fine Madras leather and soft calfskin and comes in a playful palette of pop coloured shades. But the design detail that cements its status as the ultimate arm candy? The classic baroque and western inspired flap closure that comes decorated with an oversized brass belt buckle that’s hand embellished with vibrantly hued gemstones.

The installation will be located at the ION Atrium on Level 1 and feature two gigantic Miu Lady installations that sport the same details as the actual bag itself, from the Madras leather down to the bejeweled buckles. Guests will be able to literally get inside the bags to discover the story of the Miu Lady through a series of short films and savoir-faire videos that showcases how the bags are meticulously handcrafted from start to finish.
And to celebrate the launch of the Miu lady pop-up installation, a special Ayers collection will be introduced at the event. Giant handbags and the reveal of a new special collection? Let’s just say this is a must-attend for bagaholics everywhere.
The Miu Lady pop-up installation will be open to public at ION Atrium level 1 from November 2 to November 11.
