“The one time of the year that we both actually go shopping together is for our family’s Christmas presents,” says Meaghan, who is a legal counsel while her alter ego is a barre and indoor‑cycling instructor.

"But let me warn you, Johannes is dangerous to shop with. He doesn’t say 'no'!” she jests about her eldest brother, who heads the marketing arm of their family business, marine company New Funnels.

And soon, we found out it was true (Johannes told Meaghan to get every outfit she tried on!), as the siblings shopped for an outfit to attend a Singapore Tatler x Raffles City dinner at art gallery Ode To Art.

“I love men’s tailoring, and especially a good blazer. There are classic, wear-forever pieces at Brooks Brothers, but I love how they also have blazers that dare to be a little bolder and experimental.” - Johannes

“I was just shopping at Maje yesterday. It’s one of my favourite mid-range fashion brands which I discovered in Hong Kong a while ago. They have a good range of styles and a mix of feminine and boyish pieces.” - Meghan

“I always love being in the Penhaligon’s store because it smells so nice. The interactive scent profiling quiz is quite spot-on too, and makes it easier to pick a fragrance for friends.” - Meaghan

“One of my favourites from this historical British brand is the Satorial cologne, which was created to smell like a tailor’s atelier. Meaghan and I might have found a good Christmas gift in Blazing Mister Sam from the Portraits range too… because our other sibling is called Sam!” - Johannes
