From Côte d’Azur to Tokyo, these new fragrance releases are definitely fuelling our wanderlust
Let this be your motto if you’re still grounded this summer: If you can't fly there, you can spritz it here.
Travel has always served as a creative reset and inspiration for many, and it’s no different when it comes to the world of fragrances. Smell is one of the strongest senses we relate to a place and beauty brands have mastered the art of recreating the essence of a location in a bottle.
Case in point: Les Eaux de Chanel, which takes inspiration from destinations that Gabrielle Chanel loved, from Venice To Biarritz. This month, they’ve released the fresh and woody Paris—Édimbourg, a sophisticated scent that replicates “the fragrance of a tweed jacket borrowed from men’s wardrobe”. Perhaps this is a good one to spray when you're pining for mild summers in Scotland.
