The legendary designer has passed on, following weeks of ill health
German-born fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld has passed away in Paris.
The creative director of Chanel and Fendi had missed the spring/summer 2019 Chanel couture show earlier in January this year, as "he was tired [that] morning", a spokesperson had said—a first since Lagerfeld took over the brand three decades ago.
According to media outlets, the 85-year-old had been feeling unwell for two weeks, before being admitted and passing away in a Paris hospital.
