The Singaporean pop star is back in town for Chinese New Year and other promotional activities
Additional reporting by Terence Lim.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic hit, people started to look for new ways to stay active (or leave their homes with good reason) while social distancing measures were in place. With Phase 3 in place, even more people started to grow an interest in outdoor activities such as cycling—including Singapore’s very own JJ Lin, who seems to be quite the avid cyclist.
Last Sunday, the Taiwan-based Mandopop singer took to Facebook to share a few photos of his latest cycling trip with some of his friends and family.
And leave it to eagle-eyed social media users to quickly point out his stunning Richard Mille watch that was strapped onto his wrist, on top of his protective cycling gear.
They were even sharp enough to identify the Swiss luxury watch’s specific model, which is the RM 11-03 Automatic Ultimate Edition.

On Tuesday, Lin made a trip to Spotify’s regional office in Singapore (which has a room named after the singer) while wearing the same watch. It is understood that Lin is a big fan of Richard Mille and is also a regular customer of the luxury watchmaker. A source close to the brand told Tatler Singapore that when Lin purchased his first Richard Mille creation, he walked into the boutique without any fanfare and enquired about a particular piece, just like any regular customer would.
