The creative director of Clé de Peau Beauté, Lucia Pieroni, took inspiration from the pure, untouched coastline of Cornwall, England, as seen in her soft and sunlit spring/summer colours

Your beach vacation to-do list may look like this:

  1. Lazy brunch at 11am
  2. Suntan with a piña colada in hand
  3. Surfing lessons with the BFF
  4. In-villa couples massage
  5. Dinner under the stars

Not on your to-do list: spend 30 minutes doing your make-up in the morning and in the evening. When you have sand on your feet and the smell of coconut in the air, it would be a crime to spend precious minutes couped up in your suite, staring into the mirror, perfecting that eyeliner. That is exactly what Lucia Pieroni, the creative mind at Clé de Peau Beauté thought when she designed the spring/summer colours for the brand.

Effortless and low-maintainence without the sacrifice of glamour, the harmonious colours of the duo eyeshadows, super blendable cream blushes, moisturising sheer lip colours and glossy nail lacquers are the bare essentials for the glowing summer selfie.

"This season's collection takes inspiration from the untouched elements of nature, reflecting the subtle hues of lilac summer cloud rolling over the shimmering Atlantic Ocean. It is here that I take time to appreciate the romantic allure of the world around me," says Pieroni of her favourite escape, the rugged coastline of Cornwall, England. "Even the most everyday elements of the easygoing lifestyle of summer by the sea, with its forever-changing landscape, take on a sublime gleam."

Cream Blush groupshot.jpg

Cream Blush and Powder & Cream Blush Brush

"I never wear cream blushes because I have oily skin and cream colours are not exactly fade-resistant. However, I will make an exception for the new cream blushes by Clé de Peau Beauté. Not only do they stay on past sundown (tried and tested!) they're easy to apply. No blotchy mess here, especially if you use the unbelievably soft  brush. Finger application is okay too—they don't stain."

"The pigment pay off for these slim babies fall generally in the sheer satin zip code, but that's really all you want for a natural look: a hint of juicy colour. I am a hoarder of lip balms (have you met the air-conditioner?) but I went a day without my usual hourly application just fine, thanks to the moisurising properties of the Enriched Lip Luminizer. It's a do."

Jolene's pick: Shade #239, Ice Honey (top right)

Eye Color Duo groupshot.jpg

Eye Color Duo

"Everyone who knows me is well aware that I'm almost never seen without some serious eye-shadow game. My mantra: it's got to be a little bit smokey, but never too intense or too intentional. Harsh lines? Please. That's why I love the Clé de Peau Beauté duos. They share the same formula as their popular quads—this means the delightful shimmer doesn't budge—but the real ingenuity here is the colour pairing. You can create true depth with just two shades. Stock up."

Jolene's pick: Shade #105, Serenity (bottom left)

"I will not lie and say that I'm super familiar with how these apply, because I was probably still in my early 20s when I last did my own nails (please stow away all judgement). But I will say that my nail technicians are always happy to use my Clé de Peau Beauté colours because—they say—the brushes are soft and the colours are pigmented. Plus, I hardly notice chipping on the first week of application. Honest."

Jolene's pick: Shade #9, Lavender Sky (top right)
