Sunshine halo shadow lights up models' pale irises at the Xuan show in Paris on Sunday

Paris Haute Couture Week is teeming with inspirational eye-popping looks.

Spidery doll-like fake lashes were spotted on Monday at avant-garde couturier Iris Van Herpen's runway event. Models' bold brows were brushed skywards for definition while makeup was kept neutral to let the fancy lash work steal the show.

Fast-track your way to larger eyes like Van Herpen's models, by faking it with bold 'cross pattern' effect false eyelashes.

Smudgy halo eyes with orange shadow were de rigueur at the Xuan Autumn/Winter 2017/2018 show. Think smouldering smoky meets colour block for more upbeat statement eye makeup where the shadow is extended to the brow bone. The sizzling sunshine hue provided the perfect canvas to light up models' pale irises.

Electric blue winged eyeliner was Tel-Aviv based designer Galia Lahav's makeup signature for her Autumn/Winter 2017/2018 couture show in Paris. Lahav accessorised the bold eye with a ruby red lip for a look with a decidedly 'July 4th come early' flavour.
