This will be the luxury brand's third salon in Switzerland, after Geneva and St Moritz.

Jewellery lovers travelling to Zurich now have another place to visit besides the fabled chocolatiers, museums, churches and cathedrals in the Swiss city. Bahnhofstrasse 28 is now home to a Harry Winston salon, which will house its jewellery, timepieces and top-notch diamonds and finest gemstones.

Harry Winston's CEO Nayla Hayek, who officiated at the opening of the new salon, said: "As the 'King of Diamonds', Harry Winston built his career around the world’s most sought-after diamonds and gemstones—a legacy we are proud to uphold today. With the opening of our new salon on Bahnhofstrasse, we are honoured to bring the House’s tradition of excellence to one of the most exclusive retail destinations in the world and to share our commitment to incredible jewels with our new and existing clientele across the region.”

The salon's taupe and grey colour palette matches the black lacquer and antique bronze furniture, which is accentuated by handcrafted chandeliers and customised silk walls, perfectly. The 146.2sq m store also features dedicated areas—high jewellery, bridal and timepieces—for a clientele's various needs. For those who prefer a touch of peace and quiet, there are also the luxurious private selling rooms, where clients can view the different collections.

VIP guests, who attended the grand opening ceremony held on March 23, also had the opportunity to view some spectacular bejewelled creations from the House. This included included vintage Harry Winston designs, the Winston Cluster, the Legacy collection and contemporary pieces inspired by the Harry Winston archives.
