Having won a Golden Globe Award in 2019 for his performance in Bohemian Rhapsody, Rami Malek was nominated again this year for his leading drama, Mr. Robot. Keeping his outfit slick and modern, the actor appeared on the red carpet in a black velvet jacket and tailored pants by Saint Laurent, worn with a skinny tie as well as a watch and white gold pin by Cartier.

Harriet actor Joe Alwyn stuck to the classics in a dark navy one-button suit and bow-tie. The timeless ensemble was made more interesting with contrasting black lapels and cuffs.

Presenting at the Golden Globe Awards, actor Ansel Elgort showed up in a custom navy velvet tuxedo, light blue tuxedo shirt, navy cummerbund, bow tie and loafers, by Tom Ford. This year, the Pose star arrived in a white silk tuxedo with an extravagant feathered train by Alex Vinash, which reportedly took three months to create. He paired it with jewellery by Tiffany & Co., custom white boots by Jimmy Choo and a Emm Kuo NY Ludlow bag embellished with Swarovski crystals. Definitely a breath of fresh air from the classic black or navy suits.

Roman Griffin Davis wore a burnt orange velvet tuxedo jacket with black lapels, paired with a crisp white shirt, tailored black pants and a black bow tie.
