Meet the Thai celebrities who are serving memorable style moments as brand ambassadors including Bright Vachirawat, Win Metawin, and Blackpink’s Lisa

From BTS’s J-Hope repping Louis Vuitton to NewJeans as the face of Levi’s, we've seen Korean celebrities become ambassadors for some of the world’s most renowned fashion brands, fronting campaigns that go viral overnight. In recent years, these fashion brands have been slowly expanding their reach and tapping the star power of celebrities in other parts of Asia—most notably, Thailand.

Thai entertainment, from music to dramas, have become globally accessible thanks to streaming giants and social media. With that, Thai stars have amassed an international and loyal following, making headlines with their statement looks on the red carpet and fashion shows. Naturally, they have become some of the most sought-after fashion figures. Among the most popular Thai celebrities who have been appointed global brand ambassadors are Blackpink’s Lisa and Win Metawin.

But they are not the only ones. Below, we spotlight some of our favourite Thai celebrities who are making waves in the fashion world as luxury brand ambassadors.

1. Davika Hoorne

Renowned for her unique and sophisticated style, Davika Hoorne (nicknamed Mai) continues to flourish in the world of acting and fashion. The Thai-Belgian actress and model is known for her impressive work in the horror film Pee Mak (2013) and the recent romance series Astrophile (2022). At Bulgari’s ‘Eden, The Garden Of Wonders’ presentation in Bangkok, Davika was named the Italian jeweller's House Friend for the South Asia Pacific region.

More recently, she was appointed as brand ambassador for Gucci and Gucci Beauty. “I’m truly honoured and grateful for the opportunity. I'll give my very best in this role,” she writes on her Instagram post.

2. PP Krit

Born as Krit Amnuaydechkorn, known as PP, climbed to fame after his role in My Ambulance and I Told Sunset About You. He kick started his musical career with his debut single, it’s okay to not be alright, in August 2021.

The Thai singer-actor has been announced as Balenciaga’s first ever brand ambassador in July 2023. “Balenciaga has captured my attention for its creativity and ethical vision, as well as allowed me to express my authentic self and individuality to the world,” says the actor.

3. Apo

Nattawin Wattanagitiphat is known for his role on the Thai series KinnPorsche. He got his start as a model at the age of 25 before immersing himself in the entertainment industry, but it is clear he has not left the fashion world behind. Fans spotted Apo sitting alongside his co-star Mile at the Dior show in Mumbai in March 2023, raising plenty of speculation about a potential collaboration.

And they guessed right! Shortly after, it was announced that Apo was appointed as Dior’s brand ambassador in Thailand.

4. Win Metawin

You may know Thailand’s golden boy, Metawin Opas-Iamkajorn from his breakout roles in drama 2gether: The Series (2020) and F4 Thailand (2021), the Thai adaptation of Boys Over Flowers. The actor is no stranger to fashion fame. He is a fixture at fashion events in his home country and has endorsed numerous high-end labels including Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Omega.

Sporting ultra stylish looks, Win made head turns when he made his front-row appearance at the Prada’s spring/summer 2023. With his consistent ties to fashion and social media presence, the star has cemented his place in high fashion as Prada’s newest brand ambassador—a first for a Thai actor.

“I am over the moon to join the Dior family as a house ambassador. Dior is such an iconic brand with a rich history and timeless style, so I am excited to be a part of the family,” shares Mile about the recent appointment.

Just like his co-star Win, Bright made his mark on the global stage after his breakout roles in 2gether: The Series and F4 Thailand. Beyond his successful entertainment career, this dashing Thai actor continues to flaunt his fashion charisma, amassing a lineup of endorsements with brands such as Gucci, Prada and Louis Vuitton, whilst also modelling for Burberry. It is no surprise Bright was appointed as their first South Asia Pacific Ambassador in August 2022.

Soon after, the Thai heartthrob made a front-row appearance at the brand’s fall/winter 2023 show in London, stepping for Daniel Lee's inaugural collection with a classic all-black look, wearing a black suit with an embroidered collar shirt and an oversized trenchcoat.

Having built a strong relationship with the French maison over the years, Lisa has been representing her ever-desirable Parisian flair and in December 2021, she made her runway debut walking in Celine’s spring/summer 2022 show in Nice France.

Known for her edgy street style, Lisa showed up in all black to Celine's 'La Collection Du Palace' fall/winter 2023 menswear show in her punkiest Celine outfit yet. She wore a black jumper belted at the waist, revealing a black bra, pairing her look with a black coat, knee-high boots and Celine's Triomphe shoulder bag in leopard print.
