At the first-ever region-wide Tatler Ball, celebrities including Bright, Kōki, Ayla Sham, fashionistas Yoyo Cao, Tina Leung and others brought their fashion A-game to Macau
The Tatler Ball at The Londoner Macao, which took place on November 24, marked an evening of grandeur and celebration. This was our first-ever region-wide ball and it brought together some of Asia’s leading personalities, from Thai mega star Vachirawit “Bright” Chivaaree to Asia’s Most Stylish honouree Ayla Sham.
The evening’s theme was Shades of the Extraordinary. The event’s creative mastermind, Hugo Belloy, founder of event management company Surprise Surprise, explains, “We are all shades. The Tatler community is a shade. The colours, the design, the aesthetic of the environment are [all] different shades.”

In tandem with the evening’s theme, the dress code was Extraordinary Shade. And the guests put their own spin on it through their fashion choices, making a powerful statement on the red carpet through bold colours and shapes. Red and pink were the reigning colours this year, and couture pieces from Valentino, Fendi and Giambattista Valli were spotted across the arena, alongside sparklers by Chopard, Bulgari and Chanel.
One of the guests who stood out on the red carpet was Japanese model and artist Kōki, who received The Style Award that evening. “I believe style goes beyond fashion, it’s a reflection of ourselves and it’s how we convey our individuality and values.”
