The supermodel makes her debut at the second ever Dubai Fashion Week

Established by the Dubai Design District and Arab Fashion Council in February 2023, Dubai Fashion Week has quickly become a favourite among the region’s thriving fashion scene. Dubai is becoming known for its growing appetite for luxury in every industry, from dining to fashion and jewellery, especially after the pandemic. Naturally, renowned designers from Asia and the Middle East have been enthused by the sharp increase of interest in their couture and occasionwear, steadily infiltrating that market to tap its wealth of discerning clientele.

Rizman Ruzaini, a Malaysian label founded by Rizman Nordin and Ruzaini Jamil, made its stunning debut at Dubai Fashion Week, presenting its spring/summer 2024 collection on the catwalk with a show-stopping surprise to close the show. Naomi Campbell closed the show, walking down the runway hand-in-hand with the Malaysian designers wearing a monochrome gown with the brand’s signature caped silhouette and intricate beading.

Their latest collection—which features vibrant shades of burnt orange, rose gold and turquoise, opulent details and traditional Malaysian songket—draws inspiration from the Nusantara folk legend of the Naga Seri Gumum, which tells the tale of a dragon slumbering deep under Pahang’s natural treasure Tasik Chini. Below, you can watch Tatler’s coverage of the exciting fashion show from the front row.
