Gucci has selected Jun Shison, the film, TV and theatre actor as their latest global brand ambassador
After appointing Korean celebrities Shin Min-a from Hometown Cha Cha Cha and Lee Jung-jae from Squid Game, Gucci has now selected Japanese actor Jun Shison as their latest global brand ambassador.
The triple threat actor—in TV, film and theatre—is one of Japan’s most recognisable faces. Since debuting in 2011, he has solidified his reputation when it comes to acting. Shison is best known for his work in the TV series, Hanbun Aoi and the movie, The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window.
He’s also appeared in other popular works such as the live-action adaptation of Anohana, You’re My Pet, Senpai to Kanojo and From Five to Nine. He continuously proved to be an in-demand actor, having worked on three movies in 2021 alone.

This 2022, Shison will be embarking on a new chapter in his career—his debut as a director for a short film. He will also be starring in the live-action adaptation of the popular Japanese manga and anime, The Way of the Househusband in addition to his new role at Gucci.
“I’m very honoured to announce that I have been officially designated as Gucci’s Global Ambassador. I have loved and patronized this brand since my earlier youth,” says Shison.
