This new season, trust relaxed tailoring, earthy tones and sprinkles of poppy embroidery to bring out the laid-back beauty in you

If loud prints and bright colours aren’t really your ‘thing’ this season, you’ve got Michael Kors to thank. For his Spring 2016 ready to wear collection, the New-York based designer opted for a neutral palette and sent models in relaxed tailoring down the runway to highlight the simplicity in elegance.

While the silhouette stayed simple and relaxed, summer and romantic references still influenced many of his pieces – flower embroidery, ruffles, lace and delicate pleats were seen throughout the range and exuded a dreamy and romantic feel.

Earthy tones like sun-kissed shades of sand, nutmeg and vanilla were mixed with plunging v-necklines and textured python to create a sexy and ultra-luxe appeal for the modern and glamourous Michael Kors woman. To top things off, uncomplicated accessories, including strappy sandals, low-slung shoulder bags and drawstring pouch contributed to the collection’s natural glamour.
