Our Tatler friend picks his favourites, which includes the brand’s latest Dior x Nike Air Jordan shoe collaboration, men’s saddle bag and a psychedelic shirt with Stussy’s signature font all over it

For Dior Men's pre-fall 2020, Kim Jones got back in touch with his teenage years and reached out to the godfather of street and surfwear Shawn Stussy for a collaboration that further continues to strengthen the bond between couture and the street culture.

Our Tatler friends Clement Piak, and his dad Jeffrey, attended the show last week on December 3, and we got the fashion enthusiast to journal his 48 hours in Miami with Dior Men

A bonding sesh with Dad and a quick picture before we adjourned into the show space.

Hello human sandwich. This Dior show is the hottest ticket in town and everyone wants to be here tonight! Notice the signature Stussy scribble across the entire show space?

I was too shy to approach the man of the hour, Shawn Stussy himself, so I sneaked a picture of him instead.

The show started with a firm nod to the ’90s with a track from Georgia called About Work On The Dancefloor and already, I’ve zoomed in on a look I really like!

The couture version of the board shorts. It comes in python now, and I like how it’s paired with a slightly washed Dior Oblique sweater.

This, for me, is the man bag of the season—the oversized saddle bag in Oblique

I want the Air Dior (Dior x Nike Air Jordan 1) so bad! It’s the hottest shoe collab and was seen on nearly every model tonight, including Kim Jones himself.

So I plucked up some courage to ask for a photo with Yoon Ahn, the Korean-American founder of streetwear phenomenon Ambush. Now, she also heads jewellery design at Dior Men.

After the show, there’s always the resee. That’s where I can also place some orders on the things I really like from the collection.

This psychedelic shirt is pretty dope, with all the hand-drawn Dior words by Stussy.

When couture and streetwear collide, we get crazy beadwork on collars, jackets and in this case—the entire cardigan.

Even the Dior bee on the B23 high-top sneakers gets a makeover.
