When did you first realise you wanted to work in fashion?
Hyun Mi Nielsen (HMN) Very early on. As a kid, it was my favourite thing in the world to play dress up and draw.
Who was the first designer you worked for?
HMN The most amazing designer I have ever worked for was the legendary Lee McQueen. While I was studying at the Royal College of Art and Design, I did an internship at Alexander McQueen. Many years later I returned to Alexander McQueen working with Lee and Sarah Burton before Lee sadly passed away. It was a magical experience.
