They had to choose an outfit for each other from the fall/winter 2019 collection. How did it all go down?
A blue fall/winter 2019 sweater has these words emblazoned on it: “Good girls go to heaven, bad girls to go Plein”—and that pretty much captures the crux of Philipp Plein in a tongue-in-cheek way.
The brand does have a rebellious and sexy streak, with clothes that are indeed made for partying. Its eponymous German designer-founder (and enfant terrible of streetwear) doesn’t hold back. He piles it on, then piles on more: the studs, the skulls, the leather, the bling; everything is maximalist, extravagant and unapologetically splashy.
