Trust Cartier to turn an everyday object into a covetable piece of jewellery – the new Juste un Clou (“just a nail”) collection takes the humble piece of hardware and fashions it in variations of yellow, white, and pink gold that we want to adorn ourselves with.

Juste un Clou is designed to be worn by both men and women, and succeeds in its gender-neutral agenda with a clean, raw aesthetic. The bracelets and rings come in small and large sizes, and if the unadorned gold pieces aren’t fabulous enough, there are diamond paved versions for those who like a bit more bling.

Designed by Aldo Cipullo, also the mastermind behind the iconic Love bracelet, Juste un Clou was first conceived for Cartier New York in the 1970s, echoing the festive wildness of Studio 54. And it's looking rather modern for a 40-year old idea.
