It is dedicated to women transitioning between stages of their lives
The story of Bvlgari Goldea may have only began in 2015 but each of its chapters—created in the vision of a beautiful goddess—has managed to capture the ever-changing facets of the modern woman. Inspired by the jewellery maker’s Serpenti collection, each bottle from the Goldea collection features the iconic scaglie wrapped around its neck, representing wisdom, rebirth, and vitality.
Goldea, which combines “gold” and “dea”, the Latin word for goddess, is a tribute to the radiance of the sun. For this floral oriental scent, master perfumer Alberto Morillas created a trail of white musks, with top notes of crystal musk with orange blossom, raspberry and bergamot, and golden musk with ylang-ylang and jasmine at its heart. The base notes are an addictive combination of amber musk, golden patchouli, Egyptian papyrus, Cyperus papyrus.
Rose Goldea from 2016 recreates the warmth and sensuality of the original, but comes with a softer touch from the Damask rose, while in 2017, Goldea The Roman Night took on a more seductive allure, with floral notes of tuberose, night-blooming jasmine and peony, and the earthy aroma of vetiver.
