Beauty Shopping From Home: Chanel, Dior, and More Launch Digital Concierges in Singapore
While online shopping is as simple as adding to cart, it gets a little more complicated with beauty, which is specific to skin types, tones, and concerns. Personally, I enjoy going to the retail stores to test the products and speak to beauty advisors, then scour reviews before I make my purchases online—but that’s not possible right now, with shops remaining closed in phase one of Singapore's reopening.
But there’s good news. In light of the precautionary measures taken because of the Covid-19 pandemic, many of our favourite brands which were previously not available online—officially, at least—have launched online stores and digital concierge services. These digital platforms offer customers the ease of online shopping, together with personalised advice from consultants which you would normally enjoy in stores. Most of them offer complimentary delivery and loyalty points too. From French luxury maison Dior to homegrown brand Porcelain, we share seven brands that offer personalised online services below.
Chanel’s new e-concierge and home delivery service allow you to browse products and submit your requests or orders on its website. Then, a beauty advisor will follow up via phone call to offer personalised consultations and answer any queries before you confirm your orders.
Transactions are completed via a payment link to your email, with delivery made to your doorstep in just three to five working days.

For tailored advice, you can also book a consultation online via Clarins and Me to speak to its beauty advisors, who can share personalised beauty routines based on your concerns, as well as other tips and know-how.
