Limber up those twiddling thumbs. Leandra Medine, better known as Man Repeller, has launched her shoe line.

Have you, like us, been waiting for the other shoe to drop—literally? Leandra Medine, aka Man Repeller, aka street style star, aka fearless leader of all things cool, has partnered with Net-a-porter to launch her much awaited debut footwear collection.

Called (surprise, surprise) “Mr by Man Repeller”, Medine’s shoe line features 10 designs. You’ll find rainbow platforms, high-octane loafers and thigh high boots that reveal more than they cover.

The fun doesn’t end there. Each of her creations has been blessed with her usual take on humour; she went to town with naming some of them “I’m Here To Party” and “LOL If You Think I’m Walking”. Genius, we say!

“I am implicitly interested in footwear—I always have been, but never realised that my interest was driven by something bigger than just how my reflection looks,” says Medine.

“Shoes are an incredibly escapist accessory for so many women. They’re an easy way to feel good by the simple act of looking down, and they’re all inclusive in the same way that I hope our media brand, Man Repeller to be,” she adds.

“It doesn’t matter what you look like, or where you’re from because shoes are, paradoxically speaking, one size fits all. And, of course, working with Net-a-porter—my favorite morning reading and a massive stamp of approval—has been a dream.”

The Mr by Man Repeller collection is available on Net-a-porter.
