The highly anticipated Tokyo 2020 Olympics finally kicked off on July 23 with an opening ceremony that took place at the Olympic Stadium. Though the ceremony was significantly scaled-down and held without spectators, it was still a glorious celebration for athletes and fans worldwide who have been waiting for the postponed Olympic Games to finally take place after much disruption from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Back here in Singapore, we can't wait to watch and cheer on our 23 Team Singapore athletes who are competing for national pride and glory at various sporting events till August 6.
Currently, Mediacorp is providing full coverage of the games over the 17 days of the sporting event. They have live coverage on 14 dedicated Mewatch channels which are all available for free.
