Held at the Melati Room at Marina Bay Sands, the holistic festival will allow you to have a go at the various activities, setting you on a spiritual and invigorative journey of healing. If you have been feeling stretched at work and home recently—try crystal healing, as it attempts to alleviate stress and positively interact with your body's chakra. To enhance your self-awareness and control anxiety, the meditation sessions will provide a quiet impact in your day-to-day routine, while tarot card reading sessions can provide a little more clarity in life.

2/4Colour Feast by Olan Ventura

What Bringing the vibrant beat of his native country to Singapore, Filipino artist Olan Ventura translates the dynamic pulse of the Philippines onto canvas and awes with a wide spectrum of colours. The solo exhibition at Yavuz Gallery shows Ventura portraying an array of still-life works from the old masters of traditional art, adding a layer of aesthetic sensibility that comments on today's use of digital printing. Showing the potential errors in the mechanical printing process, the effect seems to melt, blend and mix colours to result in an explosive visual treat.

3/4Merdeka, the Lonesome Club by Minstrel Kuik

What Minstrel Kuik's solo exhibition at Richard Koh Fine Art Singapore will feature 19 new works, each exploring the structure and intricacies of Malaysian democracy and its representative system. Using fabric as a medium, she mixes and matches political flags, and deconstructs its form to create an new visual language that emphasises on materiality. Apart from the visual impact that Minstrel creates, she also highlights the intrinsic link between art and politics—the visual power that the creative sector harnesses.

What Thirsty tipplers have loads to look forward to, as the third edition of the Singapore Cocktail Festival begins this weekend with pop-ups and special events happening islandwide for eight days. The first anchor event of it all—the festival village—will be set at Empress Lawn over the course of three days, with speciality cocktails prepared by award-winning bartenders from The World's 50 Best Bars and Asia's 50 Best Bars lists to excite your tastebuds. Some of these impressive individuals include Andrew Loudon from Singapore's very own Tippling Club, as well as Maroš Dzurus and Adam Amir Ghalleb from Himkok in Oslo which was ranked 19 on The World's 50 Best Bars in 2018. Apart from being spoilt for choice of cocktails, take part in spirit tastings, masterclasses, and revel in the live entertainment acts by Instigator Afrobeat Orchestra and Ruckus, among many more.
