1/4Come Together: Khim Ng and The Mad Company

What Homegrown singer Khim Ng has had quite a few brushes with fame. Having been on China’s reality TV singing competition, Sing! China 2017 recently, she has honed her craft under the tutelage of Mandopop star, Eason Chen, and is back to wow audiences on our sunny shores this Sunday at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre. Performing alongside local band, The Mad Company, one should expect no less than a fantastic time, grooving along to live tunes along the waterfront.

What Cé La Vi has hosted some of the world’s biggest DJs behind their turntables and this weekend leading up to the great countdown of 2019, is certainly no exception. Best known for his track Riverside that was released in 2009, Dutch DJ Sidney Samson is will be gracing the DJ booth at Cé La Vi this Saturday, spinning some heart-thumping beats sure to get you dancing hard late into the night.

What Looking to tick that box from this year’s New Year’s resolutions that requires you to step out of your comfort zone? As 2018 is ending, you’re literally out of time for excuses. But fret not, as The Merry Lion provides the perfect opportunity to solve that. From the most novice of speakers to the banter-filled jokers within your circles, this last Stand Up Comedy Workshop of the year is for anyone to participate it, helmed by Scottish comedian Scott Michael. The workshop will take place over 2 days, and see you enthralling crowds with infectious charm and charisma by the end of it.

What If Japanese anime and cosplay activities are straight up your alley, then this is an event you sure won’t want to miss this weekend. The annual J-culture event in Singapore is back and held at Suntec Hall this year, seeking to bring together groups of J-pop enthusiasts parading their passion for cosplay and Japanese performances. Furthermore, overseas guest artists such as former AKB48 Team 8 Idol member, Riona Hamamatsu, will be making her solo debut at the event as well.
