2/4 Screening of the Buena Vista Social Club (1999) at The Projector

What Versatile and creatively-driven, The Projector has an unrivalled reputation of hosting some of the city’s most alternative and electrifying events, and this Saturday’s line-up is no exception. There will be a screening of the Oscar-nominated film for Best Documentary—Buena Vista Social Club (1999): be introduced to Cuban musicians as director Wim Wenders documents an ensemble of singers and musicians for a series of recording sessions, all made possible thanks to guitarist Ry Cooder.
