1/4 Marquee: Opening Weekend

What Setting the bar high for Singapore's night scene—Marquee, the country's newest and biggest nightclub—is set to open this weekend with an electrifying line-up for the rest of the month. Gracing the DJ decks for the first time in the space will be Dutch DJs Tiesto and Afrojack, with special guest American rapper A$AP Rocky pumping up the crowd on the massive dancefloor.

The nightclub will open its doors first this weekend at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Marquee has taken over one of the two formerly occupied Sands Theatre. The club, owned by leading global restaurant and nightlife company, Tao Group, will see its space span across three floors with two slides and a full eight-armed photobooth Ferris wheel to get revellers entertained and energised all night long. No doubt, it will be the most Instagrammable club in Singapore.

With other big names such as American DJ Steve Aoki and English electronic music group Above and Beyond scheduled in the next few weeks to come, Marquee certainly puts the nation on the global nightlife map.

Look forward to two more factions of its establishment waiting to receive guests later on this year, including a Japanese restaurant  Koma next door (with a giant bell and selfie bridge) and a speakeasy-style lounge (with its own bowling alley) Avenue, the latter used to be the orchestra pit in the Sand Theatre auditorium.
