1/12 Slash Feat. Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators

When January 8

What Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, together with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, perform for one-night only at The Coliseum in Hard Rock Hotel Singapore, bringing songs from their third album, Living the Dream.

2/12 Singapore Motorshow 2019

What Motorheads, this is your chance to witness first-hand the latest launches from some of your favourite brands as the Singapore Motorshow is back for its fifth edition, at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. Three-time Guinness World Record stunt driver Russ Swift (pictured) also returns with his exhilarating performances of precision driving.

3/12 M1 Singapore Fringe Festival 2019

When January 16 to 27

What Taking inspiration from Suzann Victor’s 1997 Still Waters performance, this annual festival explores the remaking of histories with works including the Edith Podesta-directed Kaspar (pictured) by Austrian playwright Peter Handke. At various locations including Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay.

4/12 SMBC Singapore Open 2019

When January 17 to 20 

What The SMBC Singapore Open returns for another edition, with a star-studded line-up led by defending champion, Sergio Garcia (pictured). Golf enthusiasts can expect an exceptionally high standard of play with a prize purse of at least US$1m on the line. At Serapong Golf Club.

7/12 Light To Night Festival 2019

When January 18 to February 24

What Immerse yourself in art and history when the Light to Night Festival 2019: Traces and Echoes returns to the Civic District, as part of the Singapore Art Week, and Singapore Bicentennial celebrations. Under the Five Trees (pictured), a site-specific audio and environmental installation at the Esplanade Park weaves five creations that combine sound, music, poetry, narrative and landscape design.

10/12 ANZ Australia Day Ball

When January 25

What All aboard the East Orient Express as the Australian Chamber of Commerce, Singapore celebrates Australia Day with the ANZ Australia Day Ball at the Swissotel The Stamford. Guests can expect a glamorous evening featuring a multi-course menu of some of Australia's finest product and free-flowing tipples, alongside spectacular entertainment that will transport one back to the bygone era of opulent train travel.

11/12 Lan Shui's Farewell – Mahler's Resurrection

What Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) music director Lan Shui directs his swansong in Mahler's Resurrection Symphony, a monumental 90-minute work involving an augmented orchestra, along with two vocalists and a choir. At Esplanade Concert Hall.

What Held in conjunction with the Singapore Bicentennial commemoration, the annual i Light festival returns with an expanded showcase of sustainable light art installations across cultural hotspots.
